Inkfields (UK)
Inkfields wurde 2012 vom britischen Singer-Songwriter Sam James-Griffiths in Australien gegründet. Eigentlich ist Inkfields ein Solo Projekt, aber manchmal wird es größer und ist eine Band. In den Tonfink kommt Sam allein.
Sam nutzt eine Vielzahl von Genres, die den speziellen "Inkfields Sound“ bilden. Von Indie bis Ska und von Rock bis Blues, wurde sein Musik mit der von Radiohead und The Arctic Monkeys verglichen.

Inkfields was formed in Australia, 2012 by Brit Singer-Songwriter Sam James-Griffiths. The majority of its existence, Inkfields has been a solo project, but has appeared in band-form from time to time.
Sam uses a variety of genres to create the 'inkfields sound' from indie to ska and rock to electronic. It has been described as a mix of Coldplay, Radiohead and The Arctic Monkeys.
The first official record was titled 'Paperless Book', and was recorded and released in Sweden, April 2015. It was a 5-track EP which sold approximately 500 copies to date.
The following and latest EP, 'You Forgot The Roots' was recorded and released in Germany, February 2016. It also features 5 tracks, including the title track 'Mr Word Remixer'.
Summer 2016 will see a third EP to be released. It will be recorded in a studio in Scotland and as of yet, the title and launch date are not known.
