Yonder Boys (int.)

Yonder Boys ist eine akustische Streicherband, die zwar auf traditionellen Bluegrass-Instrumenten spielt, aber eine große Vielfalt an Einflüssen in dieses Genre einbringt. Traditionelle Klänge können mit Rock-, Latin-, Pop- und Psychedelic-Einflüssen gemischt werden, wobei die Band hauptsächlich ihre eigenen Songs spielt.

Die Band besteht aus dem Gesangsduo Jason Serious (USA - Gesang, Gitarre) und David Stewart Ingleton (AUS - Gesang, Banjo), die bereits als Support für Billy Bragg, The Wood Brothers, Timber Timbre, Other Lives und Nathaniel Rateliff aufgetreten sind. Hinzu kommt der Multiinstrumentalist Tomás Peralta (CHL - Gesang, Mandoline, Dobro, Banjo, Bass und mehr). Ihre selbstbetitelte Debüt-EP erschien 2018 bei Blue Whale Records, und ihre erste LP „Acid Folk“ wurde 2020 veröffentlicht. Yonder Boys bringen ihr zweites Album „A Makeshift Family“ 2025 auf Tour.

Yonder Boys is an acoustic string band, who while performing on traditional bluegrass instruments, show great depth in variety of influences they bring to the genre. Traditional sounds can be mixed with rock, latin, pop and psychedelic influences, while the band plays mostly their own original songs. The band features the singing duo of Jason Serious (USA -vocals, guitar) and David Stewart Ingleton (AUS- vocals, banjo) who have performed as support for Billy Bragg, The Wood Brothers, Timber Timbre, Other Lives, and Nathaniel Rateliff . Joining them is multiinstrumentalist Tomás Peralta (CHL-vocals, mandolin, dobro, banjo, bass and more). Their self-titled debut EP came out in 2018 on Blue Whale Records, and their first LP “Acid Folk” was released in 2020. Yonder Boys bring their sophomore album “A Makeshift Family” on tour in 2025.
