PG PETRICCA ist ein Vertreter des archaischen Blues, des akustischen Blues, der auf der Straße, in kleinen Clubs oder auf speziellen Festivals gespielt wird. Eine "Busker"-Karriere, die die Philosophie der wahren Bluesmänner widerspiegelt, frei von jeglichen musikalischen Zwängen und in der Lage, das Publikum zu unterhalten. Dank des Studiums der Meister des Deltas (Charlie Patton, Bukka White, Furry Lewis, Mississippi Fred Mc Dowell) hat er sich seine eigene Art angeeignet, Emotionen durch die resophonische Gitarre zu wecken.
Nach der Erfahrung mit Papa Leg Band traf PG Marco Tinari, mit dem er 2005 das Abenteuer Papa Leg Acoustic Duo begann, um den Mississippi Delta Blues Sound auf die wichtigsten italienischen und ausländischen Festivals zu bringen. Sie tourten durch Europa (Polen, Finnland, Schweiz und Holland) und die Vereinigten Staaten (Mississippi und Tennessee), arbeiteten mit verschiedenen Künstlern zusammen (Jimbo Mathus, Olga Munding, Rich Del Grosso, Bill Abel, Jon Short, Elam Mc Night) und nahmen zwei hochgelobte CDs auf, "Railroad Blues" (2007) und "Back To Mississippi" (2009).
2011 begann PG eine Solokarriere, bei der er ständig auf den Straßen des Blues unterwegs war. Zurück im Studio, zunächst als Gast von Paola Ronci, dann von der Jona's Blues Band, um schließlich zu seinem ersten Solowerk "At Home" (2015) zu gelangen, das in der Fachpresse einen beachtlichen Erfolg erzielte, der auch durch das nachfolgende "Tales And Other Stories" (2016) wiederholt wurde. Nach der Zusammenarbeit mit Gipsy Rufina auf einer Platte mit Folk-Blues-Aromen im fucense-reatino-Dialekt (2020), veröffentlichte er im Oktober 2021 sein drittes Soloalbum "Bad Days".

He has acquired his own way to rise emotions through the resophonic guitar, thanks to the study about the masters of delta (Charlie Patton, Bukka White, Furry Lewis, Mississippi Fred Mc Dowell).
After the experience with Papa Leg Band, PG met Marco Tinari with whom in 2005 he began the adventure Papa Leg Acoustic Duo, bringing the Mississippian delta blues sound to the main Italian and foreign festivals. They toured Europe (Poland, Finland, Switzerland and Holland) and the United States (Mississippi and Tennessee), collaborating with several artists (Jimbo Mathus, Olga Munding, Rich Del Grosso, Bill Abel, Jon Short, Elam Mc Night) and recording two acclaimed CDs, "Railroad Blues" (2007) and "Back To Mississippi" (2009).
In 2011 PG began a solo career, constantly traveling on the streets of blues. Back in the studio, first as a guest of Paola Ronci, then of the Jona's Blues Band, to finally arrive at his first solo work "At Home" (2015), which has received considerable success in the trade press, also repeated by the subsequent "Tales And Other Stories" (2016). After collaborating with Gipsy Rufina on a record with folk blues flavors in the fucense-reatino dialect (2020), in October 2021 he released his third solo album "Bad Days".
