Im Geiste eines Herumtreibers singt Fintan mit einer Gitarre, einer Harmonica und einer Cister. Drei Jahre nach dem kritisch erfolgreichem Irish/Folk Debüt „Wait thill the Clouds Roll By“ erscheint sein zweites Album „Stardust and Bone“ am 22.11.2019.
Fintan McHugh wurde in Dublin in ein musikalisches Elternhaus geboren. Der Sohn des nordirischen Dudelsackspielers Joe McHugh hat eine Liebe zur Musik in die Wiege gelegt bekommen, besonders für irische Musik.

Seine Mutter Lizzie spielt die Geige und Bratsche. „Stardust and Bone“ ist ein originelles Album von Fintan Mc Hugh und zeigt ihn von einer persönlicheren und unabhängigeren Seite.Genau wie das Vorgänger-Album bleibt „Stardust and Bone“ akustisch und ehrlich. Fintans Texte werden von seiner einzigartigen Stimme getragen. Fintan McHugh was born in Dublin into a musical household. Son of Northern Irish uilleann piper Joe McHugh he has inherited a love and passion for Irish songs and music. His mother Lizzie plays the violin and viola.In the spirit of the traveling troubadour Fintan sings and accompanies himself on the guitar, the Irish-cittern and harmonica.Three years after his critically acclaimed folk/ Irish traditional debut Wait Till The Clouds Roll By, Fintan McHugh’s long awaited second album titled Stardust And Bone will be released on 22.November 2019. Launch gig will take place in the Hotspot Music Club, Greystones, Co. Wicklow, Ireland. Stardust And Bone is an album of original songs by Fintan which shows him in a more personal and independent light.As Wait Till The Clouds Roll By, Stardust And Bone remains true to an acoustic intimacy and poise. Fintan’s songwriting skills are paved with his unique vocal style and his characteristic guitar playing to form an outstanding album of eleven songs to stir the heart and soul.
