Sheik Anorak - Anna Henriksson (F/SWE)

Sheik Anorak ist eine Solo/One Man-Band von Frank Garcia, einem nun in Göteborg lebenden Franzosen. Seine musikalischen Einflüsse bezieht er aus minimal-techno, Indie, pp, krautrock oder Noise/Wave. Anna Henriksson verzaubert mit ihrer ruhigen märchenhafen Stimme ihren Elektro-Pop.

Sheik Anoraks Musik besteht aus einer großen Spannbreite aller Einflüsse, die Frank aufnahm - von minimalem Techno bis Indie Pop, von Krautrock bis Noise/Nowave... seine Musik lässt sich schwer kategorisieren - nach einigen EPs und Alben hat Sheik Anorak im Laufe der Jahre seinen eigenen Stil und Klang entwickelt.
Frank spielt Schlagwerk, Gitarre. Elektronik und singt.

Sheik Anorak is a solo/ one man band led by Frank Garcia, a French musician now relocated in Göteborg, Sweden.
Sheik Anorak’s music is a wide range of all Frank’s influences – from minimal techno to indie pop, from kraut rock to noise/nowave…
His music is quite hard to categorize. After several EPs and full lengths, Sheik Anorak has developed through the years his own style and sound.
Frank plays drums, guitar, electronics and sings.
