Der aus Brighton stammende Songwriter Night House vermischt elektronische Beats, orchestrale Arrangemens und lyrisches Songwriting, dabei bedient er sich einer breiten Palette an Einflüssen wie der elektronischen Arbeit von James Blake oder Radiohead und der Folk-Harmonien von Sufjan Stevens, Joni Mitchell und Bon Iver.
Night House touren in diesem Winter durch Europa und stellen dabei ihr Debutalbum „Everyone is Watching from Afar“ vor. Das Album behandelt Themen wie Familie, Kindheit und den Druck des modernen Lebens. Es vermischt warme, organische Saiten, Klarinetten und ansprechende Vokalharmonien mit eisigen elektronischen Beats und Synthesizern. Die vielfach gepriesene Songwriterin Ellie Ford lieh dem Stück „The Roots in the Wire“, das die Flüchtlingskrise behandelt, Harfe und Stimme.
Bei Night House’s Liveauftritten sieht man den Sänger und Multiinstrumentalisten Nick Williams sich zwischen Rhodes Piano, Mandoline, Drum Computer, Synthie und akustischer Gitarre hin- und herbewegen. Unterstützt wird er durch die geschichteten Saiten von Alfred Weedons Double Bass und Amy Squirrell auf dem Cello.

Brighton (UK) based songwriter Night House blend electronic beats, orchestral arrangements and lyric driven songwriting. Drawing from a wide range of influences such as the electronic work of James Blake and Radiohead and the folk harmonies of Sufjan Stevens, Joni Mitchell, and Bon Iver.
Night House are touring Europe this winter promoting their soon to be released debut album “Everyone is Watching from Afar”. The album draws from themes of family, childhood and the pressures of modern life. Produced by Dan Brown (Massive Attack, Jerry Williams, Michael Baker) it blends warm organic strings, clarinets and lush vocal harmonies with icy electronic beats and synthesizers. Acclaimed songwriter Ellie Ford lends her harp and vocals to the lead single “The Roots in the Wires, which deals with the subject of the refugee crisis.
Night House have had the pleasure of supporting touring artists including Ben Howard, Willy Mason, Krystle Warren and The Magic Numbers. Their live performances see singer and multi instrumentalist Nick Williams moving between fender rhodes, mandolin, drum machines, synths and acoustic guitar. He's backed by the layered strings of Alfie Weedon on double bass and Amy Squirrell on cello.
